A Practically Perfect Summer Musical Experience
Calling all actors ages 7–18 ready to soar.
This summer, performers step into the magical world of Mary Poppins Jr. in a professionally staged, high-caliber production with full production values. Working with our director, choreographers, musical directors, and interns, students rehearse and perform a fully realized musical that reflects the standards of professional theatre—while remaining joyful, collaborative, and fun.
Actors will build strong vocal, acting, and dance technique, work within a structured rehearsal process, and learn to tell a story with clarity, heart, and precision. This is a true theatrical experience that delights young artists and audiences alike.

Anything Goes is a bold, high-energy musical brought to life as a professionally staged production with full production values for performers ages 8–18.
Working with our professional director, choreographers, musical director, and trained performing intern, students will rehearse and perform a fully staged, high-caliber musical that mirrors the standards of professional theatre—while remaining joyful, collaborative, and deeply fun.
Actors will:

This is not a camp showcase—it’s a true theatrical experience designed to challenge young artists while nurturing creativity, confidence, and ensemble spirit. Actors and audiences alike can expect a production that is joyful, stylish, and rooted in the craft of classic Broadway.

Company Kids!
4-8 year olds take center stage this summer with our weekly performing arts camp. A joyful, high-energy theatre week where kids sing, dance, create characters, make crafts, and build an original mini-musical together.
Led by professional teaching artists, Company Kids is full of laughter, imagination, and trying new things in a warm, welcoming space.
The week culminates in a Friday performance!

Absolutely. Our classes and productions are open to young people of all experience levels. Whether this is your child’s very first theatre class or they’ve been performing for years, there’s a place for them at Nantucket Stage Company.

We currently offer programming for ages 4–18. Younger children can start with creative theatre classes and camps, while older students can dive into musicals, workshops, and performance opportunities.

Yes! While many families know Nantucket theatre through summer programs, our mission is to provide year-round training and productions. Fall and winter shows, spring workshops, and summer camps will all be part of our regular season.
