Nantucket Stage Company is a nonprofit youth theatre where young people discover their voice, their people, and their purpose. Through professional-quality productions, immersive classes, and backstage opportunities, we create an environment that is both challenging and joyful, where confidence grows, friendships flourish, and every young person feels safe, seen, and celebrated.

All class and production registrations are managed through our Sawyer platform. You can browse upcoming opportunities, complete sign-up forms, and make payments securely online. Click here to see class registration.

Auditions are friendly, low-stress, and designed to give every performer a chance to shine. Students may be asked to prepare a short song or monologue, depending on the production. Our goal is to match each young person with a meaningful role, so every performer feels seen and supported. Details and requirements for each show will be posted with the audition notice.

Absolutely. Our classes and productions are open to young people of all experience levels. Whether this is your child’s very first theatre class or they’ve been performing for years, there’s a place for them at Nantucket Stage Company.

We currently offer programming for ages 4–18. Younger children can start with creative theatre classes and camps, while older students can dive into musicals, workshops, and performance opportunities.

Yes! While many families know Nantucket theatre through summer programs, our mission is to provide year-round training and productions. Fall and winter shows, spring workshops, and summer camps will all be part of our regular season.

Parents and community members are essential to creating a supportive theatre environment. From helping backstage to assisting with front-of-house, there are many ways to pitch in.
